For God so loved the world....

Rev. John Baumann talks about love and the church. God's love still moves us to give as Christians. His divine love is our guideline for how we support our ministries and missions at St. Peter's UCC. Rev. John Baumann served as the St. Peter's UCC pastor from 1969-1989.

An electronic funds giving service is available through St. Peter's UCC. The Electronic Funds (EFT) program works in the same manner as available to pay your heat, electric, insurance, etc. The Financial Secretary will take your completed authorization form (available in the Fellowship Hall, from the Church office, or download the authorization form here). You can enroll at any time and you can cancel at any time. Enrolling provides you with the satisfaction of giving to God first and provides our church with a more predictable income flow.
What Does It Cost? It costs you nothing and saves you time. The church pays twenty-five cents per transaction. The program is set up identical to your current envelope sections.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How is it automated?
Once you authorize the transfer, your specified contribution is electronically transferred directly from your checking or savings account to the church's account.
Is this the same as my annual pledge for financial support through our Stewardship program?
You'll still make a pledge. Electronic giving just helps you fulfill it! What are the advantages? It saves you time and work and St. Peter's benefits from more stable contribution levels.
When will my offering be deducted from my account?
On the date(s) you specify on your authorization form.
What if I try it and don't like it, or need to change it for any reason?
You can cancel or change your authorization by completing a new authorization form (if changing) or calling the church Financial Secretary in writing.
What if I change banks or accounts?
Just complete a new authorization form.
Is an electronic fund transfer risky?
Electronic contribution is less risky than a check contribution. It cannot be lost, stolen, or destroyed. It has an extremely high rate of accuracy.
